CONTINGENCY MANAGEMENT
In the event of force majeure (snow, volcanic clouds or other unpredictable natural events) SEA has foreseen a series of measures in addition to those provided by the carriers and handling companies, to assist passengers while they are at the airport.
A group of SEA volunteers will be available at Linate and Malpensa 1 and 2 airports to help passengers.
“Airport Help” points will be set up in the airports where volunteers will furnish up-to-date information on flights and offer passengers luncheon vouchers, kits for babies and toys for children. If necessary special areas will be equipped to allow passengers to spend the night at the airport.
This is a new service introduced by the company to bring us closer to the needs of our customers, especially in case of operational difficulties.
